Lakeisha Wortham

Our First Family

  Pastor Wortham received the baptism of the Holy Ghost at the age of 9. He began preaching and delivered his first message at 13. He received his ordination in 1998 at the Church of the Living God Jewell Dominion in Milwaukee, WI under the leadership of Elder C. J. Edmond.

   Pastor Wortham was since, confirmed in The House of God Keith Dominion in June 2004 after working very hard traveling from Milwaukee to Indiana with the late Elder Byron Brown. Pastor Wortham was appointed to start a mission in South Bend, Indiana. Then in 2005 after the passing of Elder Brown, he was appointed assistant pastor in Gary, In by the late Bishop Brown.

   In 2006, the Lord spoke to Bishop Brown and he began to lay the ground work for Reverend Wortham to pastor the church in Gary In. He felt that Reverend Wortham would keep the work going. Later that year, in the November of 2006, the Lord came to take Bishop Brown home, and in April 2007, by the guidance of the Holy Spirit Bishop Brown vision was fulfilled by the Chief Overseer, Bishop R. W. Fletcher, and Reverend Wortham was appointed.

   Pastor Wortham was united in holy matrimony to Lakeisha Brown in December 2001. To the union, have been added 3 children: Sibany, Imani, and Jaeda. Pastor Wortham is also an anointed musician. He shares this ministry with his brothers: Menan (who plays steel guitar, keyboard), Hannaiah (who plays the bass) Pastor Wortham (steel guitar, lead guitar and drums). He also shares a mortgage business with his brothers.

Words of inspiration from the clerk of the First Lady

   “I will bless the Lord with at all times and his praise shall continually be in my mouth.”

   It brings me great joy to give a few words of inspiration to my husband who is the priest of my home. In only 5 short years, I can say that the Lord has done great things. I have watched God rebuild you, make and mold you, and totally transform a young church man into an anointed man of God. You have inspired and touched so many lives with your words of faith and testimonies of what God has done for you. You are an example of what a good Shepard should be, and I am not saying this because you’re my husband; I have watched you not sleep or eat because someone needed you. You not only speak the word but you live it. I truly thank God for what He has done in your life.

   I want you to keep going, be encourage, and most of all continue to be humble before God. Stand no matter what even if you stand alone, you stay in God’s will, continue to hear God’s voice and obey him.

   I am honored to be your wife and your first lady. I thank God for allowing me to share in this great ministry with you.
